Download and Upload Your Switch's Running Configuration

If you need to download your switch's running-configuration, you can easily do so through the web interface.

Accessing the Web Interface
By default, the switch can be accessed via:

VLAN 1: 192.168.100.1
MGMT port: 192.168.1.1

Open your preferred web browser and enter the appropriate IP address.

Downloading the Running Configuration

1. Log in with your credentials.
2. Navigate to the Admin Page → Setup tab (default).
3. Locate the Configuration File section.
4. Under Download Configuration, ensure running-config is selected.
5. Click the Download button to save the file.

Uploading a Saved Configuration

1. If you need to restore a configuration later:
2. Go back to the Configuration File section.
3. Click Upload Configuration.
4. Select your previously saved configuration file.
5. Press Upload, and await the transfer.
6. Please immediately reboot your system, as some changes will not take.
7. After your unit reboots, save the running configuration one last time.

Security Considerations

• Data at rest: Stored configuration files may contain sensitive information.
• Best practice: Save the file in a secure location and/or password-protect it.
