The LEDs on the FLEX-Base are as below.
A. Ethernet Uplink
- 1. Ethernet RJ45 Connector LEDs:
-
Link Status (LEFT - green)
-
Activity Status (RIGHT - amber)
-
The link status LED indicates the connection status as follows:
- Off: No connection.
- On: Link is good.
-
The activity status LED indicates network activity as follows:
- Off: No activity.
- Flashing: Network activity is present.
-
2. Ethernet Downlink
- Downlink Port LEDs:
-
Link/Speed Status (LEFT - green or amber)
-
Activity Status (RIGHT - amber)
-
The link/speed LED indicates the network status and speed as follows:
- Off: No link.
- Green: Link is good with a network speed of 100Mbps.
- Amber: Link is good with a network speed of 10Mbps.
-
The activity status LED indicates network activity as follows:
- Off: No activity.
- Flashing: Network activity is present.
-
The LEDs on the FLEX-adapters: FLEX-C and FLEX-Link are as below.
A. Ethernet Downlink
(1) The Ethernet downlink RJ45 port shall have two LEDs to indicate network connection
status: Link status (LEFT - green) and activity status (RIGHT - amber).
(2) The link status LED indicates the following: Off – no connection. On – link good.
(3) The activity status LED indicates the following: Off – no activity. Flashing – network
activity.
B. Long Reach Ethernet
(1) The long-reach Ethernet RJ45 port shall have two LEDs to indicate connection status:
Link/speed status (LEFT - green or amber) and activity status (RIGHT - amber).
(2) The link/speed LED indicates the following status: Off – no link. Green – link good with
a network speed of 100Mbps. Amber – link good with a network speed of 10Mbps.
(3) The activity status LED indicates the following; Off – no activity. Flashing – network
activity.
The LEDs on the FLEX-04 are as below.
A. Ethernet Downlink
(1) Each of the four downlink Ethernet RJ45 ports shall have two LEDs to indicate network
connection status: 100Mbps speed (RIGHT - green) and 10Mbps speed (LEFT - amber).
(2) The green LED indicates the following: Off – no connection. On–link good at 100Mbps,
Flashing – Network activity.
(3) The amber LED indicates the following: Off – no connection. On–link good at 10Mbps,
Flashing – Network activity.
B. Long Reach Ethernet
(1) The long-reach Ethernet RJ45 port shall have two LEDs to indicate network connection
status: 100Mbps speed (LEFT - green) and 10Mbps speed (RIGHT - amber).
(2) The green LED indicates the following: Off – no connection. On–link good at 100Mbps.
(3) The amber LED indicates the following: Off – no connection. On–link good at 10Mbps.
