Yes, an adapter is needed with the NVT Phybridge EC-10 (NV-EC-10).

There are 3 adapters that can be installed:

• EC-Link - which can provide up to 30W on 2 pairs (spare pairs).
• EC-Link+ - which can provide up to 30W while being connected to the NVT Phybridge EC-10 (NV-EC-10), or 50W if locally powered, and is delivered over 4 pairs.
• EC-4 - which can provide up to 30W while being connected to the NVT Phyridge EC-10, or 50W if locally powered, and is delivered over 4 pairs.
