What is the NVT Phybridge EC-10 (NV-EC-10) switch solution (IP over Coax)?

The plug-and-play EC-10 (Coax Leveraged Ethernet Extended Reach) unmanaged switch makes the modernization of IP devices (IoT) simple, secure and cost-effective. When paired with the EC Adapters, this powerful enterprise-grade switch delivers fast Ethernet and PoE+ over Coax cable with up to 3,000ft (915m) reach –that’s 10Xs the reach of standard Ethernet switches.

The NVT Phybridge EC-10 needs an adapter at the far end to connect to the IP endpoint. There are 3 adapters - EC-Link, EC-link+, and EC-04. (NV-ECLK, NV-ECLK-PLS, NV-EC-04)

The cable type supported by NVT Phybridge EC-10 is a coax cable with an impedance of 75 Ohms and a comparable resistance to that of RG-59, RG-11, or RG-6. We have tested our product on the above cable types and have published the results on our Datasheet, available on our website.
