Is an adapter needed with the NVT Phybridge FLEX8 (NV-FLX-08)?

Yes, for distances beyond 100m, an adapter is needed with the FLEX8.

There are 3 adapters that can be installed:

• FLEX-C, which can provide up to 30W on 2 pairs (spare pairs).
• FLEX-Link, which can provide up to 50W while being connected to the FLEX8 and is delivered over 4 pairs.
• FLEX-04, which can provide up to 30W, is delivered on 2 pairs (spare pairs).

NOTE: For endpoints within the first 100m, no adapter is needed.
