What is the NVT Phybridge FLEX24 (NV-FLX-024) switch solution?

The NVT Phybridge FLEX24 managed switch makes the modernization of IP devices (IoT) simple, secure and cost-effective. When paired with the FLEX Adapters, this powerful enterprise-grade switch delivers fast Ethernet and PoE over multi-pair UTP cable with up to 2,000ft (610m) reach – that’s 6Xs the reach of standard Ethernet switches.

For Long Reach Ethernet (beyond the first 100m) the NVT Phybridge FLEX24 needs an adapter at the far end to connect to the IP endpoint. There are 3 adapters - FLEX-C, FLEX-Link, and FLEX-04.

The cable type supported by NVT Phybridge FLEX24 is a UTP cable with an impedance of 100 Ohms and comparable twists per inch to that of the CAT-rated cable. We have tested our product on CAT cables and have published the results on our Datasheet, available on our website.
