How do I prepare to install the NVT Phybridge PoLRE 24/48 (NV-PL-024/NV-PL-048) switch?

You can follow the below installation steps, 

1. Remove the NVT Phybridge PoLRE switch and all accompanying accessories from the package.

2. Install the rackmount brackets for rack mounting. The switch will fit in standard 19” racks.

3. Install the protective grounding conductor.

4. Remove all legacy devices from the cabling.

  Note: It is extremely important that NO non-IP devices are connected when you power on the switch.

5. Connect the infrastructure cable on to the PoLRE switch.

6. Connect an uplink port to the network switch.

7. For power share, daisy chain the PoLRE switches using DC cables.

8. Power up the NVT Phybridge PoLRE switch.

9. To revert to factory defaults, hold the reset button for 30 seconds or until the fault (!) LED on the power supply stops flashing red. Alternatively, a factory reset can be observed by connecting the console cable; the command line of the switch will confirm that a factory reset has occurred during the bootup process.
